The purchase of Sail shade fabrics to be installed over the outdoor picnic tables at Walnut Acres Elementary.

The sail cloths will be installed to:

• Provide UV protection for our students.
• Give much needed shade to keep our students cool on those hot CA days.
• Transform our picnic table area into a multipurpose space to better facilitate outdoor learning. 

Our Sail Cloth Fund-a-Need will impact every student at Walnut Acres. Your contribution enables us to install a functional, visually appealing shade area for our students. With your help, we can improve our school envrionment to provide more shade, better UV protection & create a multipurpose outdoor space for our children.

Your Generous Donation Will Fund: 

The ability to maintain the baseball diamonds at Walnut Acres Elementary and provide a space where our students can enjoy America's favorite pastime!

The donations to this Fund-a-Need will: 

• Support the purchase of a locked storage unit to store maintainence and game equipment.

• Provide volunteers with the necessary tools for field maintenance like rakes, a hand drag, and chalk liners or painters.

• Ensure baseball equipment is protected. 

• Transform the Walnut Acres field into a safe, fun enviroment for our students.

This Fund-a-Need impacts every student at Walnut Acres! The baseball diamonds are an integral part to our school's outdoor playspace and we want the landscape to represent our community pride. Your generous contribution allows us to better maintain the fields, make our outdoor space look more appealing and provide a safe space for our students to play.

The hiring of a professional muralist to design and paint a stunning art piece on Walnut Acres Elementary's office wall that will welcome students to school each day! 

The donations to this Fund-a-Need will: 

• Foster creativity and imagination as students come to school each day.

• Promote an inclusive school environment where all students feel welcomed and respected.

• Enhance our school environment and promote school pride.

This Fund-a-Need impacts every student at Walnut Acres! Your generous contribution will allow us to hire a local professional muralist to paint an amazing piece of art that greets our students every day.  This muralist recently completed artwork at Northgate Highschool.  The mural will beautify our school, promote school pride and be a welcoming piece of art every time our students come onto campus.

The funds we raise during this auction support critical programs such as reading and math intervention, classroom teaching aides, science and computer labs, and art and music instruction that would otherwise be unavailable at our school.
