Each year we’ve identified one particular need to raise our paddles during our auction evening. This year, our hearts are drawn to a cause that resonates deeply with both students and teachers: raising funds for classroom interventionists including our reading and math programs as well as instructional aides.

What exactly do these roles do? Imagine the impact of having an extra pair of hands, a caring presence dedicated to supporting our children's learning journey. These specialists are the unsung heroes who assist teachers in myriad ways: 

1. Assess students to identify areas of support.

2. Provide targeted instruction in phonics, fluency, comprehension, and vocabulary through defined reading and math programs along with general classroom instruction.

3. Use research-based strategies to improve reading and math literacy skills.

4. Work in small groups or one-on-one to give individualized support.

5. Collaborate with teachers to align interventions with classroom instruction.

In every interaction, they infuse warmth, encouragement, and guidance ensuring every child feels safe, heard, and valued. By rallying together to fund more reading, math and instructional aides, we're not just investing in resources; we're investing in the future of our children.
